i am not sure if a false pregnancy is good or not. but if i ever let her have pups i don't want it to be now. i am really worried and scared. i called a vet today (our vet is not in on the weekends) i am not sure who i talked to but the man told me if we didn't want puppies that we should have her spayed now. i said if she is really pregnant and not false pregnancy that would kill the pups and he said they do that all the time. I didn't like that statement! I would never do that. she is 10 months old and i think too young. she just went through her first heat cycle and i have taken very good measures to prevent this from happening which is why i think it is a false one.
how will this affect her? this person i talked to said if it is a false one than she could develop an infection in her uterus and cause problems. i will of course ask our vet about it all come monday morning but until then i am gonna be losing sleep.
