When my hair was long Hallie would chew on it while we were laying in bed. Ultimately she ended up getting plugged up and having an enema which was the worst experience of my life. I had to lay down the law and firmly tell her no when she did it. I gave her toys to chew on instead in bed and just dealt with the loud squeaking
