They have to be at least 1.5 Years old and it has to be at least their 2nd heat.
I know some females are over protective and take much longer to separate and we would not want to break a females heart by doign this if we ever where to have a female that way rest assured we would not breed that female again. And we would wait as long as it takes to sell the pups even after 6 months if necesary.
