I have had really good experiences with pee pads. Till this last puppy. She will go on the pee pad and sometimes miss it by a little and I have to clean it up. But she refuses to poop on the pad. Now she seems to think its a place for her to lay on as a rug or blanket or something. Not sure what she thinks she is doing. She will hold it and I will have to work and work with her to go and pee now on the pad. I sometimes take her to another room and she will use the pee pad there. I'm wondering if she thinks that whole room is hers and she doesn't even want to use the pee pad? Sounds like your little one is very smart.
