We were contacted by a lady who must re-home her Yorkie-poo. She is an adorable little 12 lb., 3 year old [looks way more poodle than Yorkie, but needs help nonetheless]. Trish has checked all this information and we know it's not a "scam" and re-homing little Petra is the only alternative for this family who are heartbroken and truly love this little girl. She has been turned down by UYR and we don't have anyone at this time to foster her ... we did, however, offer to try to find her a loving home. Her information will be listed on our website as a courtesy and we are praying that we can find a good, loving home for this wonderful little girl. She has Addison's Disease which is totally controlled by medication and is otherwise very healthy. Here is the information and a couple of pictures of her ... isn't she a sweetheart???

"We have the most wonderful 3 year old yorkiepoo. Not only is she cute she is well trained and can be left for many hours without being destructive or going potty in the house. She's great with kids and loves everybody including other pets. She is the best dog we have ever had and we've had several.

The reason we need our beloved Petra to go to a good home is because she has been diagnosed with a condition called Addisons disease. It simply means that she will require a shot of steriods once a month to live a healthy, happy, playful, normal life. She's been getting the shots for several months so we and her vet can vouch for the fact she is a completely healthy dog. We are moving out of the area and will not be able to get her the shots where we're going so we are in desperate need of someone who will love Petra like we do."
