First of all, congrats on your new puppy!
I also took my pup home at eight weeks because of some other circumstances, but it is quite early for them to go home. So he is probably stressed out.
Do you have any nutrical or karo syrup at home? Put some on your finger and he will probably slurp it right up! That way he is getting some sugar, etc, into him so he doesn't have a hypoglycemic episode. The fact that he is drinking is excellent, because you don't want him to get dehydrated. He will eat when he is ready... there are so many new things in your little guys life right now!
