we too have thought about moving to Costa Rica, and were thinking the same thing, how hard is it to bring your animals into Costa Rica....we have 2 big parrots and I do believe that the parrots will not be allowed into Costa Rica.
you bring up another question for me....you were saying its hard to find a place that will take pets??? are there a lot of condos that will not accept pets??
fun! what part are you looking to move to? maybe we will be neighbours!

if you bought a condo im sure you could bring as many pets as you wanted into it...but we have just been looking at rental units right now and most are requesting no pets. (figured we would rent first to see if it is someplace we would like to live, and then buy if it is. ) most are actually ok with the yorkie, but the cat seems to be the problem...hes long haired. im not too sure about the parrots though...

if you do enough research you will be able to find a place that allows pets though. we just found one that i think we are going to take! im so excited
