I think that is what I'm going to do after I see some weight loss after 2-3 weeks. I think that it's kinda silly to cut out fruit, that is a healthy food. And carrots, that's kinda silly to me too. I think it's going to be all about eliminating sugar and refined flour and pasta and stuff like that, like eating the low-carb version of those "bad for you" things. I feel like I have tried every other diet and can't seem to stick to it or it doesn't work, but this I have been doing pretty good with. I did have a lot more energy today than I have had in a long time, and without caffiene

I have been eating "balanced meals" before now, and I have gained 30 lbs!
I have heard that too Nobella. But I do have a lot more energy, not less. It's amazing to me to not have to take a 2 hour nap in the middle of the day and still be tired! But that probably comes from veggies.
What are some other suggestions of successful diets that people have been on? For those of you who gained back the weight after Atkins, did you go back to the way that you were eating before the diet, or did you stick with a reduced carb lifestyle?
