Eddie did great! Much better than I'd feared. He actually did most of his tricks. The grand finale was a mini agility course. He weaved through my legs (kinda lamely), jumped over a small tube, ran through a 2-foot cat tunnel, climbed his doggie steps and .... and ... I'd forgotten to give him his BALL to drop in the funnel.

So we did it again. He made it to the steps again and tried to roll the ball into the funnel with his nose. And the funnel was up to high. I tried one more time and he did the same thing.

So we (I!) blew the grand finale.

The good news is a bunch of people came up to me and said he did great. And the emcee's wife told me he was her favorite.

I had to leave before all 30 semifinalists competed, so I don't know if we made the final 15 or not. My wife is hanging out down there to find out.

I did do a video but I have no time to post now. And if I look dorky, I may not post it. Just kidding. You guys would skin me. I'll post it in the middle of the night tonight.
