I am pregnant and due in July. I am also in the military. I have been given the opportunity to get out early due to medical since I am pregnant. That would give me 11 years in. I planned on getting out at 12, when my second enlistment was up. I am really ready to get out, especially with having a baby. I don't think I would handle it that well if I got called up and had to leave a child at home for who knows how long. That would be a risk or sacrifice I would have to take. I have only been deployed at few times that I was not given an option as to whether I was going or not. Never know when we will be called. A lot of times, I feel like I am just burnt out and don't want to do it anymore. On the other side, since I have so many years in should I tough it out and get the pension and insurance when I am older. I don't know what to do. It is a very tough decision to make. My husband is not military.
