Ours sleep in our bed at night but we several other ones throughout the house that they do lay in while we're at work or even when I move about the house on my days off.
*First one we bought has that sherpa material inside and a microsuede on the outside. It's rectangle with overstuffed sides. They still LOVE this one because only one can get in it now and they're all snug as a bug in it.
*Then they have a big soft poodle fleece ball one.
*Some oversized rectangle dog pillows from Longs Drug store.
*And lastly, a good overstuffed pillow with a plain old pillowcase.
They love them all. I think it's just trial and error. Good Luck!
