Abigail is in obedience class, and I brought this up to the trainer. When Abigail is in my lap, she doesn't want any testosterone in the room. LOL She warns with threatening growls if Mo or hubby come into the room. And if I'm asleep....forget it! For some reason, she thinks I need protecting, if I'm asleep. The trainer said definitely
not to let this behavior continue. When she growls at Mo or hubby, I am to calmly put her down on the floor (no fanfare or scolding - just matter of fact), and invite hubby or Mo to sit beside me. THEN, she can be invited back, as third in the pack. We've been doing this corrective behavior for a few weeks now, and she always calms down at the time. But....seems to forget the next time!
