Well, I think I'm slacking a bit!! I never did post the pictures from the day I made the trip to bring home my precious little floppy eared girl, Amelia Joy!!
So, here is another "cut and paste" from an email I sent re: Amelia's homecoming!
(She's adorable with the floppy ears, but I'm considering trimming her so they stand up... they were up when she was a baby, but with all the coat she has, they're weighted down.... what do you guys think? Up or down?)
Here we go...
I really had no business going out at all yesterday, (this would have been 1/26) let alone making a 15 hour straight road trip by myself across two states!!! (stupid me)...
But it was all worth it when I held that little angel in my arms!!

I don't know what it is with these breeders thinking that if they keep their babies thin they can sell them for more because they're "only 3 lbs"... <<pffffffffft>> but this baby girl needs her new Mama to FATTEN HER UP!!! haha Other than that, she's perfect!!
She's laying here with me now in my bed, snuggled down with Gracie (who by the way, KNOWS I'm sick and WILL NOT LEAVE MY SIDE for a single second!!) I really don't know what I'd have done if this amazing little angel hadn't dropped into my world!!! She's truly a blessing..... poor little thing, always busy with the crazy stuff around here... she's such a sensitive girl... jumps up and off the bed to chase me to the bathroom.... sits behind me with her paws up on my back while I'm tossing my cookies (I know, gross... sorry) lol - - - but she's just soooooo attentive..... she waits quietly... then dances around when I finally get back to my feet..... follows me back to the bed and up on my chest she comes to snuggle back down....
Okay, here are the pictures.... she's a mess in the oklahoma wind... and it was a longggg drive..... so don't expect much!! haha.... she'll be gorgeous once I have a chance to bathe, brush and fluff her up.... get her on a good solid diet and work my magic on that coat of hers!!!
I went by myself so it was tough to get decent pics of the two of us together, and I look HORRID, (this was after at least 5 puke stops on the side of the highway!!) ugh!!
I'm swollen up, the hives are comin' back... and I just look icky... so don't pay much mind to me in the pics.... lol
I haven't taken any pictures since we've been home, but keep an eye out, they'll be comin' soon!
