I've dealt with this since adding Abigail to our family. My senior, Mozart, is three times her size, and she literally bullies him, at times. He could just squash her, but he's too much of a gentleman to take her in hand at all. I used to scold Abigail, because I was
1) feeling sorry for Mo! and
2) afraid that he would eventually get enough and bite her badly. Time has proven that he's either too tired to assert himself (he's 13), or he's afraid of her! LOL Anyway, it seems to be a pack thing. It will be up to Bubba to either assert himself, or relinquish the alpha position to her.
