I would stay away from online classifeds...there may be a few reputable breeders on them, but you are going to have to weed through a lot of scammers, puppymills, and bybs to find a good one.
It's worth it to find a reputable breeder, even if they cost more...it's worth it to know your dog is well-bred and that they parents have been health tested and that you are getting a healthy dog. I'm not saying you can't find a reputable breeder for less than $1000 because I'm sure there are some out there, but yorkies typically cost $1000-$2000

Purchasing from backyard breeders, pet shops, and puppymills perpetuates the suffering of other dogs.
Educate yourself and buy from reputable breeders or rescue.
