Have you thought of getting
monovision contact lenses?

I wear only one contact lenses and use one eye for distance and one eye for closeup.
I hated glasses all my life, and I would lose them all the time.
Got contacts at 16 and have not worn glasses since.
Ask your doctor about it. This is not for everybody, but perhaps you are a candidate.
I would have Lasik monovision surgery if I were not such a scaredy Kat!
