I think it all depends on what you can handle. I currently only have one yorkie...she's three years old, but I've been taking care of my parents yorkie as well for the past couple months. Having two is not really any more difficult than having one..bath time takes longer. However, two PUPPIES at once would be more difficult than having two adults. Also, two puppies = twice the cost. One day I plan to have probably 4 dogs at once

Educate yourself and buy from reputable breeders or rescue.
