Do you need a word to go in fromt of the actual word "gemstone" or do you need a word to go in front of a gemstone, such us ruby, emerald, etc? (you aren't getting Kim's Emerald, are you??)

Anyway, some I can think of are:

Expensive
Shiny
Beautiful
Amazing
Gorgeous
Green or red, etc. (the color of the gemstone named if it is a specific gemstone)
Dazzling
Tiny
Little
Precious
Dear
Lovely


If it is a specific gemstone, then there could be lots of other adjectives, but would have to know what the gemstone is.
