If he likes sports, he might get a masters in Kinesiology to work in sports management or something similar. Biology would be a very good basis for advanced kinesiology. Or perhaps physical therapy.

Usually biology is a good basis for any time of health related field. It will require more time in school-but that is the nature of a degree like biology or psychology.

Is he interested in law enforcement? All you need is a degree, not necessarily a specific one.

My brother in law is a fire fighter and since they work 24 hours on at a time and then some days in a row off - you can usually have a second job or you can have a business, if you have help with it. He owns a construction company and makes great money in addition to fire fighting.
