I am sorry that lady was so RUDE to you!! As an owner of two Silkies and two Yorkies, I can atest to the fact that many people do not know the difference and mistakenly call our Silky Terrier, Yorkies. I try to nicely correct them and teach them a little about the breed. There is a difference but it seems like some Silkies do look more like Yorkies and some Yorkies look more like Silkies. It can be hard to tell, esp. at such a young age. Please don't hold that lady against all the rest of us Silky owners...
