Also the amount of spotting varies depending on the modifiers. Normally parti should be 50% white but can be more or less. Extreme would just be the head colored and the rest white.
I would check a parti though with too much white on the head to be sure there is no deafness due to lack of pigmentation.
This works the same in parti AKC Yorkies or Biewers.
