It could be the beginning of guarding. That is exactally how Buddy started!
One toy and he would march around the house growling at himself. I thought
it was so cute. When he got bigger the growling turned on me! Then we
had a major problem. Took a really long time to change this action around.
Today it is so much better and he now shares special toys with me.
