That's great news. Sometimes you have to really put your foot down and demand answers. There are just so many nurses and doctors that sometimes there's no one actually paying attention. Happened with me when I had lung surgery..... The drs. kept saying they would wait and see if the chest tube would fix my collapsed lung but no one had paid attention to how long I had actually been there. By the time the surgeon found out, I had been there TWO WEEKS. He said I should have had surgery by the end of the first week. And then after the surgery, I had a reaction to the pain medicine (IV) and the nurse wouldn't listen to my mom regarding the searing heat pain that I was feeling all over. They just assumed it was the surgery pain and I was being a weanie about it. They finally talked to the dr. and changed it. Too many chiefs......
Hope this turn for the better is a sign of him healing completely!
