I was mislead, my breeder said she thought he might be about 5 or 6 lbs based on her past male puppies. Considering he's 5 lbs at 10 weeks i'm guessing he's going to be bigger than that. but she never made any quanties. he's great and healthy and i could care less. I paid $400 for him. The breeder had set prices no matter what. I don't get why females are more but they always are. Maybe cause the female is who has the babies and you can rent the use of stud....don't know. I would be totally miffed however if i spend way more for a pup because the breeder quantitied it would be less then said lbs and it turned out to be more. I would think the breeder should sign a contract saying that for this price full grown your pup will be less than this (cause that sounds what they're saying) if they weigh more than the breeder said they would i think I should be given the option to return the pup and get my money back or at least get the difference in price between an extreme tiny and just a normal pup returned to me when my dog grows out of the extreme tiny weight range. because i would imagine this does happen alot.
