Default My yorkie diagnosed with Collapsing Trachea

My little 8 year old yorkie Rickles has had a sore throat several times and my vet decided to take x-rays and found that he has a collapsing trachea. He said it isn't bad and may never get worse but gave me some predisone and a cough supressing pill to give him when he starts to cough. He doesn't cough very often but this medicine has really helped him. My vet told me not to change his lifestyle at all still take him for his walks, etc. He only coughs sometimes when he gets to excited or something like that. He said Yorkies was a breed that this showed up in.

Does anyone else have a yorkie with this problem? I would love to hear from you.
