It's never too late to train. It takes awhile for older dogs sometimes, but yours is still pretty young When I got Sandy I took her to a class and now she knows "sit" "stay" "off" "drop it" "dance" and "fetch" -- And as was said, it is a great way to strengthen the bond between the two of you It's been a lot of work for us, but very much worth it to have a well mannered dog.
