Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone. I am definitely going to neuter him. My other male dog IS neutered. We got him from the neighbors when they moved and he was so anxious to run around till we did that. My Jack is a female and she is also spayed. I'm not against neutering I just wasn't for sure if I was going to breed him or not. I don't need to breed him. He's old enough to get neutered too. Thankfully he doesn't mark inside the house!! He's pretty well potty trained, the only prob is if he's in his crate at night and I get him out in the morning he is so excited he piddles on me. Ick! LOL
We have been thinking of giving our other dogs away for sometime now. We're building a new house in the country that we won't be able to put up a fence. Anyway we have our reasons, but I'm pretty much a 1 dog person. My husband wanted the other 2, I didn't.
Chewie is named after Chewbacca btw (my customer's hubby named him when they first got him) not because he chews on things.. lol! All my customers assume that but I just wanted to clear that up. I would have renamed him if he wasn't already used to the name but I like it now. I'm a hairdresser by the way. Someone actually called the state board to report we had a dog in the salon (My boss's 3 lb girl) and the inspector said not all the time, but if we bring our dogs they have to be confined in the back (we have a full size kitchen that they play in. There are a couple coworkers that are pissed that the dogs are there. All they do is play in there and then fall asleep! 1 even said "if I fall because of the dogs I will sue you!" Now how ridiculous is that. Just watch where you are going! She's a klutz anyway and spills more water or other stuff on that floor in the salon that's a risk of falling on! I hate salon drama, I swear. If the boss is bringing the dog and I didn't like it that much I'd just move to another salon!
Again, thanks for the warm welcome. I can't promise I'll be here on a daily basis but I like having a place I can come and get answers and show him off. I'm glad to be part of the Yorkie "club" lol
