Good question. A reputable breeder will usually state in her contract that she be contacted if it doesn't work out. If it isn't in the contract, that would be a red flag for me. Another one would be the fact that this puppy was an impulse buy. A good breeder screens potential buyers very carefully.
If you do decide to get her, make sure you do it on the condition that your vet examines her. Make sure you get a bile acids test done since Yorkies are so prone to liver disease and have her knees checked first.
