I just got a Shih Tzu Puppy and she is losing hair!! She is only 11 weeks and she is losing hair on her face and around her ears. When i got her i thought her hair was a little on the short side but i didn't worry because the breed said it was only because she is so small. (She is only 1.8 lbs at 11 weeks) Some of her siblings had shorter hair than her and some were little fur balls but their hair seemed to be longer based on their age. She has been losing hair since the day i got her and the vet says it is probably just a food allergy. He put her on KO puppy and said it would clear up in a few days. Now he is considering a new food since it isn't getting better. Does anyone know anything about this?
