Wait.. you don't feed him after 2PM? If you're not waking up until 8AM, that's
18 hours without food. It depends on how old your baby is, but most Yorkies need to eat at least every 4-5 hours. His blood sugar could drop and he could easily go into hypoglycemic shock!! I would suggest feeding another meal. I think the water is okay, but I really would only limit it about two hours before bed. That should give him plenty of time to let it all out.
I hope that was a typo or something because 18 hours is FAR TOO LONG for a dog of any size to not be eating.
