Ok... kids are what drive you insane! lol No just kidding. I have both...in equal amounts and by far and away my skin kids bring me more joy (but also more heartache). For some people a dog can take the place of a baby. I think this is great for new couples... make sure you are going to stay together and helps you see the different styles you will have in taking care of a baby. Women get to see that they are (usually) the ones to do all the work!lol When my kids get married I will probably buy them a dog for a wedding present. I really do think it helps you get ready and possible put it off til you are ready. BUT that being said. Dogs (in my heart) can never totally replace a real baby. (sorry if that offends some of you). But if you can't have babies and can't or don't want to adopt... I say a yorkie or maltese is the very next best thing! or if you have all boys and you want a girl to dress up...lol |
