The thing about puppymills is that they don't care WHY you buy the dog...they don't care if you feel you are "rescueing" it, don't care if you don't know any better, don't care period really...all they care about is getting rid of that puppy and making money off of it. Buying a dog from a puppymill will only allow the breeder to continue mass producing dogs because they are making money. If you really want to rescue this baby, don't go buy it - report the mill to the authorities so it can be checked out and hopefully shut down.

All puppies are cute...I'm sure if your girlfriend sees another puppy, she'll fall in love with it too. Yorkie puppies kindof all look similar at that age. I suggest checking out www.ytca.org and start searching there for a breeder. There is also a breeder in Oklahoma called Tsa La Gi that I keep hearing great things about. her website is www.yorkieshowdogs.com and I know she has some puppies available at this time

Purchasing from backyard breeders, pet shops, and puppymills perpetuates the suffering of other dogs.
Educate yourself and buy from reputable breeders or rescue.
