Hope fully you'll be able to go with him to the Philippines and who knows maybe So. Korea too. I know my cousin was in So. Korea this past year and he said that a lot of his military friends were couples (I believe without children). Yes it's a bit hard for her being away from her family but then again she could not be away from my brother.
I will say this if I'm not mistaken So. Korea is a great place to go shopping cause they are really cheap (I believe this is what my brother and sister-in-law said) so if you can't go have your hubby do lots of shopping for you. And if you do go you'll have a blast shopping. My brother and sister-in-law would fly there all the time when he used to live in Japan as Japan was very expensive. Look at this as a positive thing of this whole ordeal althoug I know it is not easy.
May I ask, in what military branch is your husband in if you don't mind telling?
