My boys barked A LOT at first. I live in a condo and I got 2 letters of complaint from the condo association. I started being very strict and not letting them bark at all ever. Now they are really good and hardly ever bark unless someone walks right by my door.
So they CAN be trained, but in my opinion it may take some work as they do tend to be barkers. Im sure some are not, but you don't know what you'll get!
