I would be very suspicious of it though and Rimadyl is not the safest drug ever, so I would TELL my vet I was discontinuing it. You can always start it back up if her diarrhea doesn't clear up because then you'd know it isn't it. Rimadyl can cause liver and kidney damage and even death. I think Tramadol is much safer but I'm not sure that will manage her pain adequately. Your vet might be able to replace it with something. It is used in orthopedics extensively though...
