The vet said she doesn't know for sure if he has mites -- she actually said "sarcoptic mange" caused by mites may be the issue. She checked him and didn't see mites, but wanted to be safe. I was actually quite pleased that the entire visit including, of course, walking in the door, antibiotics and stuff for the mites was all $65. I was afraid it was going to be around $150 or something. I think I am going to call the breeder and have a few words with him. The vet was right in saying that you pay the money to the breeder and you're expecting a "perfect"healthy puppy.
Thanks for the heads up Millie. I will have to look into Revolution if Stewie is still having problems after he finishes this.
