nope...not insane! If you need to leave the house for a bit, you can't close your kids in the bathroom. Can't get your teenagers spayed or neutered. If your dog gets knocked up you can sell the baby to a new loving home....can't do that with your kids

totally joking! I wanted a dog my whole life....probably more than I wanted kids. I've been married 1 1/2 years and have had TIa for 1 year.....she's *almost* been like practice. My husband and I refer to her as our first child, and our parents have resigned to the fact that for the time being, she's the closest to a grandchild as they are going to get for the time being.

I've decided to get my second yorkie after we've had our first baby. I may be a tad ambitious, but I'm hoping to time it out so that our second Yorkie will be relatively housetrained before our first born is mobile.

I'm not preggers yet....but knowing there is a second furbaby to follow after that sure is motivation!

**why do I feel that if I expressed this to anybody but you guys somebody would pack me off to see a shrink?**
