Well, since we just paid an obedience trainer $500 for the 2 outside dogs, yes, I know how to get them to come..I've just not worked with my 4 yet..too hard when you have so many..it needs to be done one on one..so, you take them in a separate room..let them run around for a bit, then have the treats in a treat bag...you want to get their attention, so pull a treat out of the bag, hold it up in the air, then call them by name(like snickers come)and make sure the treat is up high for them to see..when they come, then have them sit and give them the treat..with a small puppy, about 10 min. at a time is all you want to spend with them doing it..then you can gradually start working with them longer.. |
