we tried the bellybands with Smokey's hair long....that lasted about a week and the smell was so bad that i ended up shaving him down to puppy cut around his body.....so much better.....he was doing the same thing about hiking up everywhere....still does...it is so funny cause now it is in the bellybands and he doesnt realize he isnt marking anymore.....it is cute to watch though.......i talked to my breeder and she says she always shaves her "little boys" when they get about 4 months........
