I've fed our Yorkies Royal Canin for over 2 yrs and was very happy with it and how it did for them until the recent discussions here,, I went Yesterday and found a place to buy Merrick food and am going to slowly switch them over to that,, after researching further on ingredients,, I can tell you all my Yorkies LOVE it!!! they are digging it out of the mix first!! leaving the RC behind til the Merricks is all gone, plus its organic and TEXAS made!! but more healthy ingredients,,but you can go to www.dogfoodsanalysis.com and read up on LOTS of different brands and make you decision,, and search here for the recent posts concerning Merrick vs. Royal Canin, hope this helps!
