I have a 16 week old baby girl. it is cold here and we have snow. Chewy has a pen out side. So he uses that but Sadie is too young to go out side. So I got a used play pen and stuck it in our basement. I put pee pads in and I take her there.... I try to shoot for every half hour to hour. Any time she eats she has to go..(sometimes she will go in the middle of a meal!) She knows this is potty and most times goes fairly quickly. The one problem I have is that she isn't holding it when she is upstairs in the house. I watch her closely but we have our accidents.
I know she has some control because when we go out she holds it until we get home!

And she holds it all night. But while shes playing she forgets. I am not a fan of the pee pads. People on here have told me to make sure there is a pad for her but she just chews it and drags it around.
I have read that you have to make one spot the potty and stick to it. They know what to do and they don't fool around when they are in potty!!!! We are working on it too so you have plenty of company!!!! Chewy is fully potty trained and so there is hope for us all!!!
