I love Yankee Candles, too, but just lately I read on a thread that candle scents can cause dogs with CT to have more breathing problems. A poster mentioned that dogs have a very keen sense of smell and just imagine how a candle smells to them. I have a Yorkie that I am suspicious has CT, but hasn't been diagnosed, so I have quit burning candles. I miss all the wonderful scents. Don't know how much longer I can hold out. Joanne
