I worry all the time that Lacy will need surgery one day. She has a grade 2 left and grade 3 right. Luckily her legs have never bothered her. My vet told me that she's seen a lot of small dogs do fine with a grade 3 as long as you keep their weight down. I just do not want to put Lacy through that surgery if her legs aren't bothering her...so I'm going to wait and see. The only downside to that is that the surgery is more difficult when they are older. So if she does end up needing surgery, I know it will be harder later in her life. It's a hard decision to make...I just don't want to put her through surgery if she's no in pain or bothered by it...but I would hate to have a more difficult surgery later.
I know how you feel because everytime i think about her going through the surgery, i just want to cry!! I also don't mind the cost of the surgery either but i just can't picture her little body going through the surgery. I am so sad about tatum and brooke also!
