could it be kennel cough??? is this chronic or has it just started say, in the last month??? if you think the vet might be wrong i'd suggest getting a second opinion. I know dogs with collapased tracheas have this issue so your vet might be right but i'd check the kennel cough first.. layla had that.. coughed like crazy.. especially at night!
