I've had migraines since I was 5 - I am now 40; they were at their worst in my 20s. If I get one now, I take Fioricet - and it works GREAT, once I get it in my system. I tend to wake up w/ my migraines - so they're at full speed as soon as I'm up - so something that works on pain is key for me.
Have you considered Topamax for preventative? If you're getting them that often, it would seem that you need the type that prevents them, not just treats them. The side effects of Topamax are pretty bearable.
