I know the age can vary but when did your yorkie have it's first heat? I ended up holding off on Bella's spay due to the holidays and finances. When I was ready to make an appt she then broke her leg and I don't really want to put her through being spayed while she has a splint on her leg so again, i'm holding off. I'm very nervous about her going into heat though and the mess that can go along with it. I can always buy her panties but really she is pee pad trained and I think that will end up being a total nightmare as well. UGH.. I don't know what to do She will be 8 months old on Feb. 8th. Would you go ahead and have it done anyway is you were in this position?
