This morning i noticed my little guy doing the butt scoot, so I picked him up and washed his butt good with baby wipes when I did this i noticed his anus was pretruding. There are a few things i think might be causing this. I want to know if we should take him to the vet or wait and see if it improves. Our little guy was sick monday night from the heat and he was throwing up, so we fed him nothing but rice & cottage cheese on tues. which threw of his regular cycle. He was pooping more regularly yesterday, but his stool was soft. Do you think his new found booty problems are due to his special diet and tues and that once he gets back to solid food and gets the rice out of his system he'll work out the problem on his own? or do you think we should take him to the vet and get him checked out?

P.S. he also got a small haircut yesterday, was playing in my mom's pond at the farm, and got a bath.
