The web cam we purchased came with software to set this up. We don't use a website -- just the included software. We have a cable modem & a router (so both my husband's & my PC can both use the cable modem). You can set up multiple computers with the cable modem. Each has an IP Address. The web cam is just like another computer on our network. We don't have a nice web address like mypetcams.com to go to though. We have to use the IP Address, so when I view our web cam I go to something like
http://10.99.101.100/
My husband set everything up, and it was pretty straight forward with the software -- I probably just make it sound really confusing
