This is probably going to sound weird, but what food are you feeding him? Many low quality foods have numerous ingredients that not only are weird, but create a hyper, restless dog.

We play with Ranger from the second I get home (between 4 and 5) until the minute we go to bed. No naps, no resting, just play play play. He just turned 7 months, but we have been doing this for months now. We also take all three dogs on long walks (at least 45min) and I never carry him on those walks. I need him tired or he wakes us up in the middle of the night.

I sounds like your pup just has too much pent-up energy. I wouldn't worry about doing too much with him, at 6.5 months he is almost structurally done growing and he needs to start getting regular exercise, which will keep him healthy for life.

Good luck!!!!!!
