I started South Beach on Jan. 1 and, to date, I've lost 9 pounds. I like it because you're never hungry - just have to stay away from white stuff (sugar, potatos, rice, bread). You can eat all of the lean meat you want, eggs, veggies. After the 1st couple of weeks you can start to add some carbs back a little at the time if you'd like. I was on it once before and my cholestoral dropped like a rock as did my tryglicirides - the doctor was amazed! You can pick up a paperback at any bookstore. Good Luck!
